Joe Ewing of PFF puts the heat on a Kispiox River steelhead that was off to the races and was eventually turned after clearing the next riffle downstream. After a long battle, the fish would eventually come off with nearly the leader at the tip of the rod. From the vantage point where I took the photo, I briefly had a quick look at the fish before it shot across the river and threw the fly. It was a very nice fish!
