Peter Hogg
Peter Hogg is the man behind the web site. He is the guy you'll see in the back office of the store quietly doing the job of three people (the PFF way). Peter also helps out with all other things "technical" around the shop including computer hardware, software, networking, and the store security systems. He is a master of taking a project that seems like it would take two days and finishing it in ten minutes. Watching him on a computer is like watching an experienced Spey caster consistently launch 150 feet of line with laser beam loops to distant lies on the river.
Peter is a born and raised Washingtonian, growing up in the Puget Sound area and graduating from Western Washington University with a degree in Anthropology. Although he doesn't fly fish, Peter spends an impressive amount of time hiking the Cascade Mountain Range covering distances and altitudes that are rivaled only by the mountain goats. If we were to hold a "Pacific Fly Fishers Race to the top of the Mountain", Peter would have camp setup, a rabbit stew on the fire, and snow cave sauna built by the time the rest of the PFF crew made it there.
Peter is a terrific resource for Pacific Fly Fishers. His talent and skills writing custom web applications has added great functionality and cool features to our web site/catalog that we hope our customers enjoy.
