Frostbite is a braided synthetic product that is commonly unraveled and used as a single-strand to wrap the body of chironomid patterns. Each strand has a very shiny, somewhat clear appearance which is great for chironomid/midge bodies... but also works great for any small nymph or dry fly. It can also be used without being unraveled and creates a body similar to Midge Diamond Braid.
Frostbite is the perfect substitution for Stillwater Solutions Midge Braid.
