Who doesn't have an old fly rod, reel, fly tying vise, or some other fishing equipment that isn't getting used as much as it should? How nice would it be to exchange that gear for something new and exciting?

Our Used Equipment Trade-In Program is a simple win-win program. We will sell your equipment on Ebay and give you a gift card for the amount it sold for, less Ebay and Paypal fees. You get just as much money as if you sold it yourself, but we do all the work! We don't make anything off the sale of your used items, but we get to sell you new stuff with your credit. It's a win-win all the way around.

Here's How It Works

  1. Get us your items

    If you’re located in our local area, drop by our store with your items and we’ll register you for the program in person. If you’re not from our area, just submit your items via our online submission tool. You will need to create an account to submit your items and can then return to our website to track their progress at any time.

  2. Prep your items for photography

    Once we receive your items, we will clean and prepare them for photography. Your items will be professionally photographed to draw as much attention as possible.

  3. List your items

    Next, we will list your items on Ebay using our existing product templates. We'll make your items stand out and look as professional as possible. In addition, Pacific Fly Fishers has an amazing 100% positive feedback score on Ebay. Potential buyers will feel as safe as possible buying from an established business.

  4. Calculate your credit

    When an item sells you will be notified by phone and email. An in-store gift card or online credit will be prepared for you in the amount your item sold for, less Paypal and Ebay fees.

  5. Receive your credit

    Local customers can come by the store and pick up their gift card. Out of area participants will be emailed a confirmation of their online credit to use on the Pacific Fly Fishers online catalog.

  6. Buy some new stuff

    Use your credit to purchase any products or services from the Pacific Fly Fishers store or online catalog.
