Have you ever had those days where lacing up your boot just seemed harder than it should be? Maybe it was too cold out and the fingers didn't work... or the laces were frozen to the ground? Or maybe it was that camping trip with the fishing buddies where there was a little excess of libations the night before. Whatever the reasons were, the Simms Rivertek 2 Boa Boot has you covered. The easy on and off of the BOA system has taken away the hassle of lacing up boots.
From snowboarders to golfers, the BOA system can be found all over the sporting world. Add that to a stylish boot and you have a game changer on your next fishing adventure. But don't just take our word for it here is what Simms has to say.
LIGHTWEIGHT, LONG-DISTANCE CHARGERS WITH ON-DEMAND FIT Powered by a hard-charging aesthetic and on-the-go adjustability, the Rivertek™ 2 Boa® is a force both on the trail and in the drink. Underfoot, Simms’ stalwart StreamTread™ platform is tuned for support and traction, while the boot’s upper architecture endures abuse thanks to waterproof synthetic leather in a tag-team effort with TPU skid plates located in high-wear areas. We recommend the use of Simms' Hard Bite Boot Studs to quickly convert these boots into a studded sole version for the best traction in the stream.
To allow proper room for the neoprene stockingfoot, find your regular shoe size in the right-hand columns and order the corresponding Simms Boot in the first column. This will typically be one size up from your normal shoe size for men and one size down for women (ie: a women's USA size 8 would take a men's boot size 7).
(Simms Boot size 5 will fit a Youth Size 4, etc.)
