UV2 Yak Hair

UV2 Yak Hair is extremely long.  Each pack contains a bundle of hair that is approximately 16-inches in length.  Yak hair is the material of choice for many tiers making extremely large saltwater flies.  Yak hair does a very good job of shedding water when the fly is pulled from the water so casting those giant flies is much easier than flies tied with many other materials.  Yak hair also produces a translucent sheen underwater similar to polar bear and is treated with a UV light reflecting dye to produce as much UV visibility as possible.
