Simms Freestone Sling Pack

Sling packs are all the rage these days, and the Simms Freestone Sling Pack is one of the best sling packs we've ever seen. The Freestone Sling is the perfect size pack for a long day out on the water. This sling pack holds its shape really well with light or heavy loads. The pack itself is made of a DWR treated Ripstop nylon to help keep your gear dry when the weather turns. 

The Simms Freestone Sling Pack has a generously sized main compartment with one stretch mesh pocket, and plenty of room for necessities like rain jackets, gloves, buff's, beanies, ect. On the top of the pack there is a small pocket for wallets, keys, lip balm or other small items. The front of the Simms Freestone Sling has one large pocket behind the work station that is perfect for extra fly boxes, spare shooting heads, and leader and sink tip wallets. Unzip the compression molded front pocket and turn it into a handy work station. On the inside of the work station there is a large foam fly patch that makes re-rigging or drying your flies out before sticking them back into your fly box very convenient. There is also a large stretch mesh pocket on the inside of the work station. The front of the work station has a large velcro patch that works great for having your tippet and dry fly floatant easily accessible with Simms' tippet holder and floatant holster that comes with the pack. The Freestone sling has a very easy to use net sheath and a stretch water bottle pocket with two compression straps. There is also two tool ports for attaching zingers for nippers, forceps, hook files ect.
