Upcoming Class

<p>Enter a new dimension of the sport of fly fishing by learning to tie your own flies. Learn about the materials and tools used to tie flies and the basic fundamentals for tying streamer, nymph and dry flies. Patterns learned will include the Wooly Bugger, Soft Hackle, Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear, Elk Hair Caddis, Stimulator and the Gray Wulff.</p>

<p>Limited to five participants per instructor.</p>

<p>Basic tools will be required (vise, bobbin, scissors, whip finishing tool and hackle pliers).</p>

<p>All materials will be provided.</p>

<p>Each class includes the following three sessions:</p>

A week on the Ronde

So fall is here and with every fall my mind turns to the Eastern Washington rivers and their summer run steelhead. I fish the Wenatchee, avoid the Methow and the crowds, hit the Snake or the Clearwater, but the one thing that I never miss is the Ronde. Some weeks are busy. Some weeks are slow with people.

Preparing for the next cast yearning for that next tug.
