The Black Red Neck Nugget is a chironomid pupa imitating fly with a black body and thorax with a olive rib and bright red wing buds. A silver bead and epoxy-covered body allow the Nugget to sink quickly. The epoxy-covered body gives the fly a realistic appearance and makes for a very durable fly as well. The Black Red Neck Nugget's black body, subtle ribbing and distinct wing buds make this a great color to start with when you aren't sure what color the fish are on.
