Para Midge Emerger - Olive
The Para Midge Emerger - Olive imitates the emerging, hatching midge/chironomid and is a very effective fly, especially on lakes for the larger chironomids. Put floatant on just the hackle and post and let the back of the fly submerge below the surface like the pupa struggling to emerge through the surface film. The Para Midge Emerger is a great fly we've had success with on numerous trout lakes when chironomids are hatching and the fish are on top.
