Bull Trout are common in our steelhead rivers in the Washington area and some of them get over 10-pounds. Although most Bull Trout are between 2- to 4-pounds, every once in a while a larger one grabs the swung fly and has you convinced you have a steelhead on the line. This Skykomish River Bull Trout took off like a fresh steelhead before we realized what it was. They're always good at keeping you on your toes.
