Pontoon Boats Built for Fly Fishing

When it comes to versatility, few watercraft can match the capabilities of a fishing pontoon boat. Offering excellent stability, maneuverability, and storage capacity, pontoon boats have become a favorite choice among fly anglers who fish both lakes and rivers. Their elevated seating position provides improved visibility and casting comfort, while their efficient rowing characteristics make it easy to cover water and access productive fishing areas.

At Pacific Fly Fishers, we offer a carefully selected lineup of Outcast pontoon boats designed to meet the needs of serious anglers. Models such as the PAC 800, PAC 900, PAC 1000, Fish Cat 9-IR, and Fish Cat Panther have earned outstanding reputations for durability, performance, and thoughtful fishing-focused features.

Advantages of Fishing from a Pontoon Boat

Pontoon boats provide greater carrying capacity and on-the-water versatility than most Float Tubes or Frameless Boats. Anglers benefit from additional room for tackle, safety equipment, extra clothing, coolers, and other gear needed for longer days on the water.

The elevated design also improves rowing efficiency and visibility, helping anglers navigate rivers, position themselves effectively, and cover larger sections of water with less effort. Many pontoon boats can also be customized with accessories that further enhance their fishing performance.

Designed for Lakes and Rivers

Whether you're drifting Western trout rivers, trolling productive stillwaters, or exploring new fisheries, a quality pontoon boat provides a stable and reliable platform. These boats are designed to perform in a wide range of fishing environments while maintaining the portability advantages that inflatable watercraft are known for.
