Mayfly Nymphs
Mayfly nymphs are bread and butter fly patterns for most trout rivers. Mayfly nymphs including species specific patterns like PMDs, BWOs, Callibaetis and and also the classics like the Pheasant Tail and Hare's Ear Nymph. Spring through fall, when in doubt, nymphing a mayfly nymph on just about any trout stream will have you in the action.
