Loon Apex HD Plier
Loon Outdoors makes some of the industries best tools and gear for on and off the water, and they really hit a homerun with the Apex HD Plier. These pliers are lightweight but robust! They come with a nice rubber sheath and a tether and the cutters can be replaced if you ever wear them out. We have been using these pliers since they came out and we have been very impressed. The ergonomic handle is very comfortable in hand, and the jimping throughout the handle helps with grip even when they are wet. These pliers have a smooth section on the jaws that work great for pinching barbs, and they will pinch a barb on a heavy saltwater hook no problem. These are a great plier at a great price!
