Para Midge - Olive
The Olive Para Midge is a dry fly for imitating hatching midge in rivers or lakes. The dark olive abdomen and amber-olive thorax is a common coloration with midge/chironomids. Krystal Flash is used for the wings and post and makes the Para Midge pretty easy to see. A dark dun colored hackle keeps the fly floating and adds to the buggy look of this pattern. The Para Midge is perfect for stalking midging fish eating larger midge in rivers or for chironomid dry fly opportunities on your favorite trout lakes. Size 16.
