Swinging flies for bright silvers is right up there with steelhead in my book. Swing the fly into the zone and strip it out before it goes into the hang down. Often, a voracious grab takes place on the first strip. On this trip to B.C. Canada, the steelhead opportunities were limited due to high water, but silvers were loading into other rivers that were still clear. With beautiful fish like this, some still with sea lice, no one was complaining. Michael Bennett Photo. September 2021.
