Pass Lake Minnow

Pacific Fly Fishers

$4.25

The Pass Lake Minnow is a custom fly we have tied to imitate the Fathead Minnows that were introduced into Pass Lake, Washington.  Rainbow and brown trout in Pass Lake have become quite the predators of the Fathead Minnows and, particularly in the fall, eat them aggressively.

Fish the Pass Lake Minnow on an intermediate or other sinking line and cast the fly close to the shoreline and strip it out with a fast retrieve.  If boiling fish are spotted, cast to them as quickly as possible and retrieve even faster.

The Pass Lake Minnow is approximately 1.5 to 1.75 inches in length.  It is tied on a super sharp, barbless TMC 2499 SP-BL hook.  Size 8.
