Humpy Bug

This is one of the best patterns for pink salmon (Humpies) ever created.  Only found here at Pacific Fly Fishers.  This fly was created by PFF owner, Michael Bennett, for the sole purpose of chasing pink salmon in both the salt and the fresh water.  Funny thing is that it also works for steelhead, other species of salmon, and the occasional sea-run cutthroat.  The two best ways to present this fly to Pink Salmon are to dead drift it through the pool or swing it.  But with both methods it is best to give the fly a twitch or short strip every once in awhile to get the fly to "hop" through the presentation.
