The Nugget - Olive is a chironomid pupa imitating fly with an olive green body and thorax with a red rib and pale yellow-olive wing buds. A silver bead and epoxy-covered body allow the Nugget to sink quickly. The epoxy-covered body gives the fly a realistic appearance and makes for a very durable fly as well. The Olive Nugget's olive body and red ribbing imitates a common coloration found in chironomid pupa and should be worthy of consideration for any chironomid fly box.
