Thin Skin is a plastic sheeting material that is commonly used for wing cases and overbodies on nymph patterns like the Copper John and Mercer's Tungsten Skwala Stone. The "Gator" or "Fly Specks" patterns also make great dry fly wings on stoneflies or hoppers.
Thin Skin is somewhat transparent so they blend with the colors of your fly. The plastic is also very durable and easier to use than turkey tail for wing cases.
