Olive is definitely right up there with black as the most popular color of Wooly Bugger. Our Wooly Buggers have a touch of flash in the marabou tail and along each side of the body. They are slightly weighted and tied with good proportions. The palmered hackle is perfectly sized and makes for a good looking, effective fly in both lakes and rivers.
We like the olive color especially in lakes with lots of weeds. Fish them just above the weed beds on a full-sink line.
