River Rat Squid - Kaleidoscope
The River Rat Squid was developed as a steelhead fly and it has proven itself for both steelhead and salmon. This color we call Kaleidoscope. It is a mixture of colors in chartreuse, black, blue and pink. It has become a hot pattern for silvers, kings, and chums in Alaska. The stinger-style hook setup uses heavy monofilament nylon to keep the hook in the back of the fly for increased hook-ups.
