Hardy Brothers 150th Anniversary Lightweight Series Reels

The Hardy Lightweight Series of reels celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Hardy brand. Hardy Lightweight reels are an iconic series from Hardy. These are a reissue of the 1970 edition. The series includes 6 sizes and we are carrying 5 of them, the Featherweight, LRH, Princess, St Aidan, and St Andrew. The Lightweight series has a reel to cover every rod from a zero weight to a 7wt Spey! These reels feature a wide range click check system, commemorative engraving, and a line guard. They can easily be switched from left to right hand retrieve, and come with a soft leather sheepskin lined reel case.

When we looked through Hardy's history to find the best tackle to commemorate our 150th anniversary, it was quickly agreed that the Lightweight series in the 1970 edition was the correct choice to reissue. A series that is a true Hardy original, and also price accessible, ensures the broadest participation in our celebration of Hardy. The full range is being reissued with a nickel silver double screw line guide, raised spindle casing, and a collectable leather reel bag. The line guard is marked with an engraved commemorative dating of 1872-2022 and will only be sold through December 2022.
