The Ridge Extreme running line is a great running line for Spey rods or any shooting head applications. Airflo Ridge Extreme running lines are coated running lines but are thin and have very low stretch. That low stretch is key for strike sensitivity and getting solid hook sets at distance.
Equally at home in fresh or saltwater, Ridge Extreme running line has a slightly harder coating that’s a lot less wiry than mono, minimizes tangles and will have your heads winging their way to the horizon.
