Beech's Itchy Trigger is definitely a fly to have in the box when fishing Christmas Island, the Seychelles and other places where triggerfish roam. It is tied with heavy brass eyes to sink fast. In addition to triggers, it will take bonefish and permit as well. The Itchy Trigger is tied on a very heavy saltwater hook because triggers are known to often bite off traditional saltwater hooks.
The Beech's Itchy Trigger is tied on a super stout size 4 stainless steel hook with double monofilament weed guard. Total length of the fly is approximately 2-inches.
