CDC Tufts are short, puffy CDC feathers. They are perfect for floating nymphs, winging dry flies or emerger patterns when the CDC is to be tied into one spot on the fly (verses wrapping). Examples would include Roza's Red Butt Caddis, D&D Cripple, or the CDC Biot Dun BWO.
