We've been eying Lamson rods for a while now and we couldn't take it anymore. The quality of these Lamson Guru rods for their incredible price was too much to ignore any longer. Lamson Guru Rods are medium-fast in action which means they are a perfect all-purpose fly rod and a great rod for newer anglers or anyone wanting a bit more "feel" in their cast. They don't lack power, however, and will handle the finesse of the short-range dry fly and then chuck some line across the river without hesitation. If you're looking for a modestly priced rod but want the biggest bang for your buck, the Lamson Guru rods should be a serious contender.
