Sage Shift Reels

Sage Shift reels have replaced the Sage Spectrum series and are quite an improvement. Fully machined out 6061 aluminum featuring their bombproof SCS drag system with an improved seal. The Shift series of reels sports a large arbor for fast line retrieval with a concave spool for more line capacity. A one revolution drag knob to easily adjust during a fight, with 20 numbered detented settings so you always know where you're at. One thing we've noticed on the Shift reels comparing them to the Spectrum series is that the tolerances seem to be a lot tighter and the quality of the reel overall feels much nicer. When you put some torque on the reel there's little to no wobble from the spool to the frame of the reel. So rest assure, whether it's 8 inch cutthroat you're after or 50 pound tarpon, the Sage Shift is going to perform!
