Anderson's Tungsten Bird of Prey is a large October Caddis pupa ideal for these larger caddis species which hatch in the fall. Fish the Tungsten Bird of Prey for trout or steelhead and certainly both at the same time when nymphing rivers like the Deschutes, Grand Ronde, Klamath and many others. The Tungsten Bird of Prey is tied on a stout scud-style hook for plenty of exposed hook gap and the large tungsten bead will sink the fly very quickly to keep the Bird of Prey in the zone.
