RIO Elite Skagit Max Power

The RIO Elite Skagit Max Power replaces the ever popular Skagit Max Short. The Skagit Max Power is great for shorter rods, and should definitely be in your head wallet for those tight casting situations where you don't have a whole lot of room to place a D-loop. These heads carry the largest flies and the heaviest sink tips better than ever before. The taper and weight distribution of RIO Elite Skagit Max Power shooting heads transfers the energy from the head to the tip and through the fly to produce powerful casts with high line speed and tight loops. Skagit Max Power heads have a low stretch core that provides a lot of sensitivity and feel from the fly to the angler. Built with SlickCast, the most durable coating on the market.

• 450gr to 575gr – .030/.032” Elite Metered/PowerFlex Max Shooting Line, or 35lb SlickShooter/GripShooter
• 575gr to 675gr – .035/.037” Elite Metered/PowerFlex Max Shooting Line, or 44lb SlickShooter/GripShooter
• 675gr and bigger – .040/.042” Elite Metered/PowerFlex Max Shooting Line, or 50lb SlickShooter/GripShooter
