Sage Salt HD fly rods are Sage's latest advancement in saltwater fly rods.  Sage Salt HD rods incorporate Sage's KonneticHD Technology. KonneticHD Technology is described by Sage as providing the Sage Salt HD rods with greater blank recovery and a crisper tip stop for tighter, more efficient loops during the cast.  Sage also describes the new technology benefit as allowing the caster to dig deeper into the rod and access the lower sections, shifting power closer to the angler.

Sage Salt HD rods replace Sage's Salt fly rods.  The new Salt HD is a faster-action rod in comparison and casters will feel more power in the mid-section and butt of the rod.  They are designed to allow the angler to quickly pick-up line off the water, make a quick backcast or two, and make a delivery cast with speed, distance and accuracy. 

Each Sage Salt HD rod comes with an aluminum rod tube, cloth rod sock, and Sage's Lifetime Original Owner Warranty.
