Daiichi 1640 Hooks
Daiichi 1640 fly tying hooks are a 2X Short shank, standard wire hook that is useful for a variety of fly patterns. The Daiichi 1640 hooks would be an ideal hook choice for flies like caddis adults or pupa, extended body dry flies where the body of the fly extends beyond the hook shank, for spiders, small egg flies, tiny tube flies, or even Trico dry flies when the tier wishes to maintain as much gape as possible. The Daiichi 1640 hooks also feature an offset hook point (reverse bend) to aid in hook-ups.
