Dr. Slick makes great quality fly tying and fishing tools. The Dr. Slick Ceramic Bobbin 4 3/4" version is no exception. This is a great bobbin for larger threads and larger flies. This larger size features a longer tube with a larger diameter than the 3" and 4" version. Large saltwater flies, salmon/steelhead jigs, floss, or simply tyers that prefer a larger tool will all be good applications for the 4 3/4" Dr. Slick Ceramic Bobbin.
Like the other sizes, the Dr. Slick Ceramic Bobbin 4 3/4" size features Delrin feet for super smooth tension on the thread spool. It also features ceramic inserts on both ends of the tube for excellent thread protection and minimized thread breakage. The rest of the bobbin is constructed of quality stainless steel and brass.
