Buzzer Wrap is a very thin, semi-transparent fly tying material which is very popular for chironomid bodies. In addition to chironomids, use Buzzer Wrap for nymph bodies, ribbing, or even an accent material in trout streamers or salmon/steelhead flies.
Because Buzzer Wrap has transparent characteristics, use a thread underbody to create the perfect shade you're looking for on chironomid bodies. Or, use a base layer of silver, gold or mirage tinsel underneath your wraps to make the Buzzer Wrap color super bright and vivid.
Each strand is 1/32-inch in width. 100 strands per package. Made in Italy.
