The Clouser Minnow was developed as a smallmouth bass pattern by Bob Clouser. Pink and white is used for pink and silver salmon from the beaches of Puget Sound and it is a great bonefish color. Since then it has become a universal fly for all types of species and is easily the most popular saltwater pattern around. It has become a staple for bonefish, small tuna, jacks, and in the Northwest, the most popular pattern for salmon and sea-run cutthroat trout in the salt. Size 4 pictured.
