G. Loomis NRX+ FLY Rods

G Loomis

G. Loomis NRX+ FLY rods meet the demands of avid trout, salmon and steelhead fly fishing junkies. In this series you'll find the three most common trout rods. A 490, 590, and 690. These versatile tapers are great all purpose rods. Delicate dry fly presentations to dry droppers, double nymph rigs, streamers on sink tip lines, to leeches on full sinking lines in lakes are all in play with these three rods. There are four purpose driven ten foot models of the NRX+, these ten footers really make great nymphing rods. Whether you are on foot, or in a boat, and chironomid guys, don't overlook the 4100 and the 5100! As for the 6100, 7100, and the 8100. These are going to be your heavy nymphing, and swinging rods. Salmon and steelhead, with traditional lines, or single hand Spey lines will all be well suited to these three ten foot rods. There's one more rod in the lineup, the 595. A 9 foot 5 inch 5wt. This rod certainly has many possibilites, but the first thing that comes to our minds, is this will be a great stillwater rod!

Here is What G-Loomis has to say about their NRX+ FLY Rods

Edgy environmental factors like sustained wind, complex hydraulics, and natural structure all pack the potential to punish productivity. With favor stacked in nature’s corner, level the playing field with fishing tools forged to conquer these, and other common variables. With a primary focus of maximizing versatility, these adaptable actions improve angler capability and expand tactical opportunity in difficult fishing situations. Rolled with our most advanced compound taper construction to date, NRX+ provides the power, line speed, and loop stability expected from modern fast-action rods without compromising “feel” and finesse in the short game. This means, regardless of casting distance or difficulty, NRX+ empowers anglers with confidence-boosting control in less-than-ideal situations.
