RIO Skagit iMOW Tips are based on RIO's hugely successful MOW tips and are sink tips specifically made for attaching to Skagit heads on your Spey setup. Skagit iMOW Tips are built with an intermediate section instead of the floating section on the original MOW tips. iMOW tips create a fantastic transition between your floating Skagit head and the fast sinking tip for perfect depth control and utmost strike detection. This latest version of the iMOW sink tips includes RIO's new SlickCast coating for increased durability and super slick casting performance.
"Light" Skagit iMOW tips feature T-8 for the fast sinking section (which sinks at 6"-7" per second) and are generally best for Skagit heads under 475 grains. The intermediate section is a translucent white.
"Medium" Skagit iMOW tips feature T-11 for the fast sinking section (which sinks at 7"-8" per second) and are ideal for Skagit heads between 475 and 575 grains. The intermediate section is a translucent green.
"Heavy" Skagit iMOW tips feature T-14 for the fast sinking section (which sinks at 8"-9" per second) and are usually best for Skagit heads of more than 575 grains. The intermediate section is a translucent blue.
