• Echo SR Switch Rod

  The Echo SR two-handed rods were designed by Tim Rajeff and were designed with a modest tip action but with extra power in the butt for throwing tight loops and bombing longer casts when you need to. They handle both Skagit lines and Switch lines beautifully and have a sharp looking black and gray finish. Echo SR rods are 4-piece rods that come with a rod tube, rod sock, and Echo's Lifetime Warranty. More info.

• Waterworks-Lamson Remix S HD Reel

  The Waterworks-Lamson Remix HD Reel is well suited to switch and Spey rods.  This HD (heavy duty) version of the Remix features a full cage frame which makes the reel very sturdy and ideal for switch/Spey anglers fishing monofilament running lines. The drag on the Remix HD reels is the same as other Waterworks-Lamson reels. It is a sealed drag which keeps the drag consistent even when the reel has been dunked in the river. This is an important benefit when you're relying on the perfect drag setting to set the hook when a steelhead takes your fly on the swing.  

• Scientific Anglers Skagit & Spey Lite Skagit Heads
  

  We paired the Echo SR's with the Scientific Anglers Spey Lite Skagit on the 3wt through the 6wt, and the Scientific Anglers Skagit on the 7wt and 8wt. Both of these Skagit heads are tremendously easy to cast and will allow you to cast in tight quarters such as when your back is up against and buried underneath the trees. These are ideal Skagit heads for switch rods and will bomb across the river with big flies and sink-tips in tow. The head length ranges from 13 to 22 feet depending on the size included in your package. 

• RIO Powerflex Ultra Shooting Line
  

  RIO’s Powerflex Ultra Shooting Line is a great shooting line for Skagit and Scandi shooting heads. It feels like a traditional coating running line, but it shoots with the line speed of mono. The ultra slick coating floats high on the surface of the water to decrease drag, and maximize distance. Powerflex Ultra Shooting lines feature bulletproof welded loops on the back and front of the running line for quick rigging. More info.

• Airflo Custom Cut 7-foot Sink-Tip and 13-foot Sink-Tip

  To complete your line setup, we're including two Airflo Custom Cut sink-tips. One sink-tip is cut to 7-feet and is perfect for moderate to shallow water. The second tip is 13-feet and is used for moderate to deep water. Each sink-tip has nicely made loops on each end to easily connect the sink-tip to your Skagit head and so you can quickly add and remove leaders. The sink rate on these tips is 7- to 8-inches per second. 

• Scientific Anglers Backing

  Scientific Anglers' backing is very thin, highly durable and the colors are colorfast. We've been using it for years on everything from trout to billfish and haven't run into a single inconsistency. Your outfit will come with the perfect amount backing already loaded onto the reel and attached to your line. We only use the best knots to rig your setup. We use the Albright Knot with a lock then sealed with glue to connect your backing to your running line. We generally choose a backing color that contrasts your other lines. Let us know if you would prefer a certain color option for your backing. The choices are yellow, orange or white. More info.

• RIO Steelhead & Salmon Leader - 6-foot

  RIO's Steelhead and Salmon Leaders are perfectly designed for anadromous species such as steelhead and salmon along with being able to turn over any streamer your rod can handle. Its clear, non-glare finish disappears in all water conditions. Its knotless taper has a thicker butt section and uses a slightly stiffer copolymer for abrasion-resistance and for turning over larger flies. The leader already comes with a perfection knot on the butt of the leader and will come in the package already attached to a sink-tip on your reel. Just add fly and go fishing! More info.
