Maxima Chameleon Leader Spool

Maxima Chameleon has been a popular leader and tippet material for a long time, especially here in the Northwest. It is the toughest and and most abrasion resistant nylon from Maxima. It is stiffer and a bit thicker in diameter than some other materials but sometimes that stiffness is desirable -- such as for turning over large flies or for an abrasion resistant sink-tip leader for steelhead or salmon. Maxima Chameleon is commonly used for butt sections on the end of sink tips where the extra stiffness is desirable for helping turn over the fly.
