The Herring Shock & Awe is a really cool baitfish pattern tied on a tube, developed by a local fly shop owner, Anil Srivastava. It is a very popular small baitfish pattern fished on our local beaches for salmon and sea-run cutthroat trout and has a darting action when stripped through the water. Size of the fly is approximately 2 3/4 inches in length and comes with a short shank, straight-eye hook, approximately size 6.
