• Redington Dually II Spey Rod

  Redington's redesigned Dually II Spey and switch rods are lighter and have better tip stability than the original Dually Spey/switch rods.  Most importantly, the new Dually rods are simply better casting rods, and now feature down locking real seats to better balance the rod. The Redington Dually two-handed rods were designed with the price conscience Spey caster in mind. Redington left off most of the frills found on other rods with their Dually Spey but don't let that fool you. These are great casting rods. What they ended up with was a bomber rod at a third of the cost of others on the market. They cast Skagit heads and heavy sink-tips with ease, and can handle large flies. The new Dually's have a sharp bronze finish (or Special Edition Purple), alignment dots to make rigging your rod easy, and soft touch EVA pinch grip sections for better line control. • Sage Spectrum C Reel

  Sage Spectrum C Series Reels are a great price with excellent features and have an excellent feel in hand. Sage Spectrum C Series Reels are cast aluminum reels which are then machined and powder coated for a durable, corrosion resistance finish. Their large arbor design maximizes line retrieval speeds while minimizing line memory. The Spectrum C Series reels have an oversized drag knob which is easy to adjust and is numbered and detented for the perfect drag setting every time. The drag system on the Spectrum C reels is also a sealed drag to minimize issues with sand and grit.More info.

• RIO Elite Skagit Max Launch Shooting Head

  We paired our Redington Dually Spey outfits with RIO Elite Skagit Max Launch shooting heads. Skagit Max Launch heads are very popular, and for good reason. Skagit Max Launch heads are very nice casting lines which are capable of very tight, good looking loops, and make casting large heavy flies and sink tips very easy and fun. The back few feet of the head is dark blue, transitioning into a aqua blue front section of the shooting head. The dark blue in the back of the head makes it easy to see the junction from the shooting head to the running line in any light conditions, something that is overlooked in some other lines out there. The dark blue section also makes tracking the line through the swing really easy.   More info.

• RIO Powerflex Ultra Shooting Line
  

  RIO’s Powerflex Ultra Shooting Line is a great shooting line for Skagit and Scandi shooting heads. It feels like a traditional coating running line, but it shoots with the line speed of mono. The ultra slick coating floats high on the surface of the water to decrease drag, and maximize distance. Powerflex Ultra Shooting lines feature bulletproof welded loops on the back and front of the running line for quick rigging. More info.

• Airflo Custom Cut 10-foot Sink-Tip and 13-foot Sink-Tip

  To complete your line setup, we're including two Airflo custom sink-tips. One sink-tip is cut to 10-feet and is perfect for moderate to shallow steelhead lies. The second tip is 13-feet and is used for moderate to deep water. Each sink-tip has a nicely made loop to easily connect the sink-tip to your Skagit head. We have also built a looped butt section on the other end of each tip so you can quickly add and remove leaders. The sink rate on these tips is 8-inches per second and they are handmade in our store for your outfit.

• Scientific Anglers Backing

  Scientific Anglers' backing is very thin, highly durable and the colors are colorfast. We've been using it for years on everything from trout to billfish and haven't run into a single inconsistency. Your outfit will come with the perfect amount backing already loaded onto the reel and attached to your line. We only use the best knots to rig your setup. We use the Albright Knot with a lock then sealed with glue to connect your backing to your running line.  More info.

• RIO Steelhead & Salmon Leader - 6-foot

  RIO's Steelhead and Salmon Leaders are perfectly designed for anadromous species such as steelhead and salmon. Its clear, non-glare finish disappears in all water conditions. Its knotless taper has a thicker butt section and uses a slightly stiffer copolymer for abrasion-resistance and for turning over larger flies. The leader already comes with a perfection knot on the butt of the leader and will come in the package already attached to a sink-tip on your reel. Just add fly and go fishing! More info.

Redington Dually 7126 Rod with Sage Spectrum C 9/10 Reel

The Redington Dually 7126-4 is a great all around steelhead rod. It certainly would be a go to summer steelhead rod, but has the power to feel perfectly at home throughout the winter throwing bigger, heavier flies and larger fish.  The 12' 6" length is long enough for hucking a Skagit head across the river but will excel in tight quarters on steep banks and overhanging trees.
